My Story
My name is Shana and I am an alcoholic. I'm also a mother to two beautiful boys and an extremely grateful partner to my wife of 11 years. I've been sober for 7 years now and I'm excited to share this gift that has changed my life.
The Helpful Hat Project allows those in recovery to offer themselves as a beacon of light to someone in need as they move about in their daily life. The hope is that these garments will invite someone who is struggling or knows someone who is struggling, to approach the "Helper" for just that...HELP. Direction. Guidance. Resources. Hope.
